MOBIS, as one of the largest Korean suppliers for the automotive industry, along with the Kia Motors Slovakia, s.r.o enters into the industrial zone in Gbelany, to assembly here four types of chassis modules. This includes front module, cockpit module and both front and rear chassis. Mobis Slovakia also produce the bumpers and brake systems.

In late 1999 MOBIS launched the production of chassis modules and in November 2000, it formalized its transformation by renaming itself Hyundai Mobis.
